Yes. Whether you drive a tractor-trailer, a rigid, a coach or any other large electric vehicle, every station shows the clearance height and whether earlier drivers with comparable vehicles were able to charge without trouble. So you know before you set off whether your truck will actually fit.
Because those apps make no allowance anywhere for a tall, wide or long truck. A station that is perfect for a car can be unreachable for a truck because of a low canopy, a turn that is too tight or not enough room to manoeuvre. ELVgo was built specifically to make that difference visible, with fast chargers and clearance height at the heart of the map.
Other drivers, usually while they are charging themselves. Every report can be verified by the community, and when in doubt you always see the most recent, highest confirmed measurement per station, not a guess from an office that has never been there.
No. Searching and viewing the map costs nothing, and there is no subscription, no tracking advert and no catch. ELVgo runs as a non-profit hobby project. We do not make promises for all eternity, but if anything changes you will read it here before it does.
